Run a shortcut from the Shortcuts app on Mac
When you open Shortcuts, your shortcuts collection appears, listing all the shortcuts you’ve created or added from the Gallery. You can run any of these shortcuts.
Run a shortcut from the Shortcuts app
In the Shortcuts app on your Mac, do one of the following:
In the main Shortcuts window move the pointer over a shortcut, then click .
Double-click the shortcut you want to run, then at the top of shortcut editor that appears (showing all the actions in the shortcut), click .
Control-click the Shortcuts icon in the Dock, then choose a shortcut from the Run Shortcut menu.
Shortcuts performs each action sequentially (from top to bottom as listed in the shortcut editor).
If an action requires additional data, a dialog appears and asks for input. If an action requires private data from your device, a dialog asks for permission to use your data.
If the last action in the sequence results in a rich preview (such as an image or map location), a small preview window appears below the shortcut. Click to view content in full screen, or click to send it elsewhere.
Cancel a shortcut
You can stop a shortcut while it’s running.
