Open PDFs to the previously opened page in Preview on Mac
You can set Preview to open PDFs to the page you were on when you closed the PDF.
In the Preview app
on your Mac, choose Preview > Preferences, then click PDF.Select “Start on the last viewed page.”
To always open PDFs to the first page, deselect “Start on the last viewed page.”
