Resolve spreadsheet conflicts in Numbers for iCloud
In certain circumstances, a spreadsheet may get out of sync across your computers and devices. For example, if you edit a spreadsheet in the Numbers app on your iPad when you aren’t connected to the internet, then you edit the same spreadsheet on Numbers for iCloud before the latest changes appear, you’ll get a conflict. The next time you open the spreadsheet, the Resolve Conflict window appears, asking you to select the spreadsheet you want to keep.
Go to Numbers for iCloud , then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
In the Resolve Conflict window for your spreadsheet, select the spreadsheet you want to keep.
If you’re not sure which version you want to keep, select a spreadsheet, then click Preview. To compare it with another version, select another spreadsheet, then click Preview again.
The preview is view-only (you can’t make any changes to it). To download or print a copy, click at the top of the preview window, then choose an option.
Click Keep selection at the bottom of the Resolve Conflict window.
Tip: You can also click Keep in the upper-right corner of a spreadsheet you’re previewing.
The unselected spreadsheets are deleted from all your iOS and iPadOS devices and computers set up with iCloud.
If you still have trouble resolving a conflict, visit the Numbers for iCloud Support website.
