Sync a Keynote presentation across devices
You can set up iCloud on your Mac, iPhone, and iPad so that the presentations in the Keynote app on all your devices and in Keynote for iCloud stay in sync. That means that whether you create or modify a presentation using Keynote on your Mac, iPhone, iPad, or on the web, you see the latest version everywhere.
Sync a presentation from a Mac
Make sure your Mac is set up with iCloud and has macOS 11 or later installed.
On your Mac, open the presentation you want to appear in iCloud.
Do either of the following:
For an already saved presentation: Choose File > Move To, then click the Where pop-up menu and choose iCloud.
For an unsaved presentation: Choose File > Save, then click the Where pop-up menu and choose iCloud.

Understanding syncing symbols in Keynote for iCloud
Occasionally, syncing symbols appear in a presentation’s thumbnail in the presentation manager.
If you see , an upload to iCloud is in progress.
If you see , the upload failed.
If you can’t open a presentation in the presentation manager, and either symbol appears in the presentation’s thumbnail, make sure the device used to create the presentation is connected to the internet and set up with iCloud.
