Make iPad text easier to read with accessibility features
You can use accessibility features to change the weight, size, and darkness of text to make it easier to read on your iPad screen. You can also have iPad underline text you can tap.
Tip: Quickly set text size when you add it to Control Center.

Make text easier to read
You can adjust your preferred text weight, size, and darkness in apps that support Dynamic Type, such as Settings, Calendar, Contacts, Mail, Messages, and Notes.
Go to Settings
> Accessibility > Display & Text Size.
Do any of following:
Make text bigger: Tap Larger Text, then drag the slider to adjust the text size (turn on Larger Accessibility Sizes to show more size options).
You can also go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Display Zoom, then select Larger Text to see larger controls.
Make text heavier: Turn on Bold Text.
Make text darker: Turn on Increase Contrast to improve legibility by making the text stand out more.
Identify tappable text: Turn on Button Shapes to underline any text that performs an action when you tap it.
You can also enlarge text on your screen by using Zoom or in your environment with the Magnifier app .
Adjust the text size while you’re using an app
Open Control Center, then tap

(If you don’t see
, add it to Control Center—go to Settings
> Control Center, then tap
next to Text Size.)
Drag the slider up or down to increase or decrease the text size.
To change the text size for all apps, tap All Apps at the bottom of the screen.
To apply these settings to only the contents of the zoom window, see Zoom in on the iPad screen.
