To change these settings, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Network in the sidebar, click a network service on the right, click Details, then click DNS. (You may need to scroll down.)

List of DNS servers.
Add a DNS server to the list: Click the Add button at the bottom of the DNS servers list, then enter an IPv4 or IPv6 address.
Remove a DNS server from the list: Select a server in the list, then click the Remove button at the bottom of the DNS servers list.
Search Domains
List of search domains.
Add a search domain to the list: Click the Add button at the bottom of the search domains list, then enter the domain name.
Remove a search domain from the list: Select a domain name in the list, then click the Remove button at the bottom of the search domains list.
