Set content restrictions in the Apple TV app on Android
You can set content restrictions, often also referred to as parental controls, to restrict access to movies or TV shows above a certain rating.
Important: Content restrictions are applied only to the device on which they’re set.
Go to the Apple TV app
on your Android device.
Tap your account icon in the top-right corner.
If you can’t see your account icon, tap
. You may have to tap several times.
In the Settings menu that opens, tap Content Restrictions.
Create a four-digit passcode.
Turn on Content Restrictions, then do either of the following:
Restrict which movies are available in the Apple TV app: Tap Movies, then tap the highest-allowed rating, or tap Don’t Allow to restrict all movies.
Restrict which TV shows are available in the Apple TV app: Tap TV Shows, then tap the highest-allowed rating, or tap Don’t Allow to restrict all TV shows.
Tap
to return to the Settings menu, and again to return to the Apple TV app.
Content restrictions are applied immediately after you set them.
To update or remove content restrictions, tap your account icon to open Settings, tap Content Restrictions, enter the passcode you created, then make adjustments.
