Mark items as favourites in Apple Music on Mac
You can mark items as “favourites” in Music to make them easier to find. If you subscribe to Apple Music, you can get notifications on new releases from your favourite artists, and easily get back to their music from the Home screen.
Note: Apple Music isn’t available in all countries or regions. See the Apple Support article Availability of Apple Media Services.
Add items as favourites
In the Music app on your Mac, do any of the following:
Add a favourite album: Click Recently Added or Albums in the sidebar, then click the Favourite button below the album art.
Add a favourite song: Click Songs in the sidebar, move the pointer over any song, then click the Favourite button in the Favourite column. Or click the More button for the song, then choose Favourite.
Tip: If a song is playing, click the Favourite button in the playback controls at the top of the Music window to quickly mark it as a favourite.
