Enter TCP/IP settings on Mac
If your network administrator or ISP provides you with network settings such as an IPv4 or IPv6 address, you can enter them in TCP/IP settings.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Network in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Click the network service you want to use, then click Details.
Click TCP/IP.
If you received an IPv4 address, click the Configure IPv4 pop-up menu, choose an option, then enter the IPv4 address, subnet mask and router address.
If you received an IPv6 address, click the Configure IPv6 pop-up menu, choose an option, then enter the router address, IPv6 address and prefix length.
If provided, enter the DHCP Client ID.
Click OK.
