Play, download or remove songs from iCloud Music Library on PC
If you subscribe to Apple Music or iTunes Match, your music is stored in your iCloud Music Library, so you can listen to it whenever you’re connected to the internet. See Use iCloud Music Library.
Note: iCloud Music Library isn’t available in all countries or regions.
Play songs from iCloud
You can play songs directly from iCloud when you’re connected to the internet.
In the iTunes app on your PC, choose Music from the pop-up menu at the top left, then click Library.
To play a song in your iCloud Music Library, double-click it, or select it and click the Play button .
Download songs from iCloud
You can download songs so you can play them when you’re not connected to the internet.
If a song hasn’t been downloaded, it has an iCloud Download button next to it.
In the iTunes app on your PC, choose Music from the pop-up menu at the top left, then click Library.
Click the iCloud Download button .
To view only your downloaded items, click Downloaded in the sidebar on the left.
After you download a song to a computer, it remains in the computer’s iTunes library, even if you turn off iCloud Music Library.
Remove a song from iCloud
Deleting a song from iCloud also removes the song from all your iOS and iPadOS devices that have iCloud Music Library turned on. If the deleted song was downloaded to any of your other computers, it remains on those computers until you manually delete it.
In the iTunes app on your PC, choose Music from the pop-up menu at the top left, then click Library.
Select a song or songs to delete, click the More button , then do one of the following.
To remove the song from your computer but leave it in iCloud: Click Remove Download.
If you don’t see this option, the song isn’t downloaded to your PC.
To remove the song from both your computer and iCloud: Click Delete from Library, then click Delete Song.
