Report a problem
To provide the best experience for your patients and providers, inform Apple of any problems your organization or your patients experience with Health Records or Health app data Share with Provider. Items to report include the following:
Bugs
Feature requests
Usability problems
User education issues
Important: Don’t include personally identifiable information or protected health information in your communications. If Apple needs further information from your organization, Apple will provide instructions on how to send it using a secure method.
Report a problem with Health Records
Sign in to Health Records at Apple Business Register.
A list of your FHIR API endpoints appears.
For the affected endpoint, click in the right column.
Click Report a Problem, then follow the onscreen instructions.
You can choose to send the report to your EHR vendor, too.
For example, you can report these types of problems with Health Records:
Patients can’t sign in to their account from the Health app.
Your organization adds a location, but your patients don’t find it in the Health app.
Report a problem with Health app data Share with Provider
A provider who discovers a problem should use your organization’s standard IT support process to report the problem.
When the problem escalates to you, sign in to Health Records at Apple Business Register. A list of your FHIR API endpoints appears.
For the affected endpoint, click in the right column.
Click Report a Problem, then follow the onscreen instructions.
You can choose to send the report to your EHR vendor, too.
For example, you can report these types of problems with Health app data Share with Provider:
A patient reports that Health app data sharing is turned on, but the data doesn’t appear in Apple Health app data.
A provider reports that Apple Health app data takes a long time to load or it crashes.
A provider can’t copy and paste with the Scratch Pad.
Note: Apple will respond within 24 hours by sending an email with a case ID to the contact you identify in your report. When submitting additional information to Apple about the problem, include this case ID.
