
View log messages and activity in Apple Configurator for Mac
Keep the Console window open while you work in Apple Configurator to view log messages from your Mac, connected devices, device management services, and Apple. These log messages show system events, dialog text, errors, status, and other communications. If a problem occurs, you may be able to find information about the cause of the problem by viewing the log messages in Console or the background activities, which open in a separate window. Device management services can’t view this log information.
You can also view Apple Configurator activity, including when Apple Configurator connects to the internet to obtain specific information.

In Apple Configurator
, double-click the connected device, then click the Console button
in the sidebar.You can mark a selection, clear the window to view a specific event, or save the log for troubleshooting.

To view Apple Configurator activity, choose Window > Activity and resize the window to the size you want.
