Connect Bluetooth devices to Apple TV
You may want to connect a Bluetooth® device to your Apple TV—such as an MFi-certified (made for iPhone and iPad) game controller, a Sony PlayStation–compatible controller, a Microsoft Xbox–compatible controller, Bluetooth headphones, a wireless keyboard, or another accessory.
Apple AirPods connect automatically to Apple TV if they’re associated with the same Apple ID. See Set up your Apple ID on Apple TV.
Find and connect to a nearby Bluetooth device
Before you start, refer to the device’s instructions to set the device to Discoverable.
If you’re connecting a game controller: Press and hold the TV button
on the Siri Remote to open Control Center, select the General Settings tab
, then select the Game Controllers button
and select a game controller from the list.
For other Bluetooth devices: Open Settings
on Apple TV, go to Remotes and Devices > Bluetooth, then select the device in the Other Devices list.
