About actions
Certain actions create files, follow specific processes, and use command line tools.
The Apply System Configuration Settings action creates two files: bindingNames.plist, for directory binding; and sharingNames.plist, for automatic computer naming. These files cannot be edited.
The Enable Automated Installation action uses the file minstallconfig.xml stored in /Packages/Extras/ to run without any user interaction. The volume chosen in the action must be present on the target system for the workflow to succeed. Making edits to this file will cause the workflow to fail.
The Add User Account action uses the
dsclcommand to create the user account. For more information, see the dscl man page.
