View weather maps on iPhone
You can use the Weather app to view full-screen precipitation, temperature, air quality, and wind maps in your location or other areas.

View a full-screen weather map
Open the Weather app
on your iPhone.
Select a location, then do either of the following:
Tap
at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll down, then tap the weather map.
Change the map display
While viewing a full-screen map, do any of the following to adjust the display:
Change the map display to temperature, precipitation, air quality, or wind: Tap
.
While viewing the precipitation map, tap
to change the view between 12-Hour Forecast and Next-Hour Forecast (not available in all countries or regions).
Move the map: Touch the screen and drag your finger.
Zoom in and out: Pinch the screen.
View a location from your weather list: Tap
.
Return to your current location: Tap
.
Add a location to your weather list, view its current conditions, or view it in Maps: Touch and hold the location.
Tap Done to close the map.
