Listen to podcasts on all your Apple devices
Your podcasts information — including the shows you follow, your channel subscriptions, your stations and current play position — syncs to the Podcasts app on your Mac, iPhone, iPad and iPod touch when you sign in to the same Apple Account.
On your Mac: Go to the Podcasts app
, choose Podcasts > Settings, click General, then make sure Sync Library is selected.On your iPhone or iPad with iOS 18, iPadOS 18 or later: Go to Settings > Apps > Podcasts, then make sure Sync Library is turned on.
On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iOS 17, iPadOS 17 or earlier: Go to Settings > Podcasts, then make sure Sync Library is turned on.
If you have an iPod classic, iPod nano or iPod shuffle, you have to sync your device with your Mac to add podcasts and other content to it. See Sync podcasts between your Mac and iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
