Subscribe to Apple TV channels in the Apple TV app
With the Apple TV app, you can subscribe to just the channels you want without downloading any apps. Then you can watch content included with your subscription directly inside the Apple TV app – on demand and across all of your devices.1
How to subscribe to Apple TV channels
Subscribe NowOpen the Apple TV app.
Select the Store tab.
Scroll to Add Channels & Apps or Add Channels.*
When you find a channel, open it, then choose the Subscribe or Try It Free button.
Enter your Apple ID and password to purchase a subscription to the channel.

Pricing varies by channel. You can see details about the trial, monthly price and renewal terms before confirming your subscription. In addition to subscribing to Apple TV channels, you can subscribe to Apple TV+ to watch original stories from the most creative minds in TV and film.
Watch Apple TV channels in the Apple TV app
Open the Apple TV app.
Select the Home tab.
Scroll to Channels & Apps or Channels.*
Open the channel to stream content included with your channel subscription in the Apple TV app, without having to download the channel’s app.2
With Apple TV channels, you can:
Access your subscription on any device that’s signed in to the Apple TV app with your Apple ID.
Stream content from a channel on up to three devices at the same time if you’re part of a Family Sharing group.2 Some channels may allow you to stream on more than three devices simultaneously. Find out more about limits for streaming on multiple devices.
Download content from channels you’ve subscribed to in the Apple TV app.
For some Apple TV channels, you may be able to sign in to that channel’s website or app with the same Apple ID that you use to watch content in the Apple TV app.
If you have trouble accessing a subscription to an Apple TV channel in the Apple TV app, you may need to cancel your subscription on that channel’s website or app, then subscribe to the channel again in the Apple TV app.
You can watch all content on demand and ad-free. Some devices that support the Apple TV app may not offer Apple TV channels. Selected on-demand TV programmes from some channels may include promotional interruptions. Some channels may also allow you to stream live TV, which can include adverts. Channels that allow you to watch live TV in the Apple TV app may require Location Services to be turned on for your device.
You may not be able to stream content from some channels if you’re travelling abroad. Download the films or TV programmes you want to watch before leaving your current country or region.
