What’s new in tvOS 15 for Apple TV
Here are some of the new features and enhancements in the latest version of tvOS. Not all features and content are available in all countries or regions.

Apple TV uses your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to complete the setup. See Change network settings on Apple TV.
Use an Apple device to sign in or make purchases (now with Apple Watch support for purchases in tvOS 15.4) Authorise purchases and subscriptions on Apple TV using an Apple Watch or using Face ID and Touch ID on an iOS or iPadOS device. SharePlay keeps everyone’s playback in sync, so you can watch on the big screen while you laugh, cry, scream or sigh together on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. See Watch together using SharePlay on Apple TV.
Group Workouts in Fitness (tvOS 15.1) Group Workouts, powered by SharePlay, let you and up to 32 of your favourite people work out together (requires an Apple Fitness+ subscription for all participants and FaceTime on iPhone, iPod touch or iPad with iOS or iPadOS 15.1 or later). Cheer each other on or talk smack face to face. See when someone closes an Activity ring. And during HIIT, Treadmill, Cycling and Rowing workouts, you get a notification when someone moves ahead of the pack on the Burn Bar. See Work out together using SharePlay on Apple TV.
