
Use tools for FaceTime audio calls on Mac
FaceTime includes features to help you stay in control of audio calls. You can record calls to capture key information, view a transcript of the call, and use Hold Assist to wait on hold for you and let you know when a live person is available. Record a FaceTime audio call on Mac
You can record a FaceTime audio call when you’re talking to one other person, then view the transcript of the call in the Notes app.
- During a FaceTime audio call, click  . .
- Click Call Recording. - Both call participants hear a notice that the call is being recorded.

Call recordings are automatically saved to a Call Recordings folder in the Notes app.
Play a call recording
- Go to the Notes app  on your Mac. on your Mac.

Use Hold Assist
You can use Hold Assist to wait on hold for you and let you know when a live person is available.
