In the DVD Player app on your Mac, choose Features > Enable Parental Controls, then enter an administrator username and password.
To disable parental controls, choose Features > Disable Parental Controls, then enter an administrator username and password.
Change parental control settings for a DVD
In the DVD Player app on your Mac, after the DVD starts playing, choose Features > Parental Control Settings, then one of the following authorisation options:
To allow the DVD to be played without restriction, select “Always”.
To require an administrator username and password every time, select “Play Once”.
Turn off parental controls
In the DVD Player app on your Mac, while the DVD is playing, choose Features > Disable Parental Controls.
Enter an administrator username and password when prompted.
You can also set other restrictions on your Mac by using Parental Controls preferences. See Set up parental controls.
