Change the Assistive Access passcode on iPhone
You can change the passcode you use to enter and exit Assistive Access on iPhone, or if you forget the passcode, you can use an Apple Account to exit and reset it.
Change the Assistive Access passcode
Exit Assistive Access if it’s active, then go to Settings > Accessibility > Assistive Access.
Tap Passcode Settings, tap Change Assistive Access Passcode, then enter a new passcode.
Choose an Apple Account that you can use to exit Assistive Access and reset the Assistive Access passcode if you forget it. Tap Set Recovery Apple Account, enter an Apple Account email address or phone number, then enter the Apple Account password. (You can skip this step if you don’t have an Apple Account.)
If you forgot the passcode and can’t exit Assistive Access
If you set up a recovery Apple Account when you set the Assistive Access passcode, you can use the recovery Apple Account to exit Assistive Access and reset the passcode.
Triple-click the side button (on an iPhone with Face ID) or the Home button (on other iPhone models), tap Exit Assistive Access, then tap “Forgot Assistive Access passcode?”
Enter the recovery Apple Account email address or phone number, enter the recovery Apple Account password, then tap “Forgot password?” to exit Assistive Access.
