Search: Find music on Apple TV

You can find and add music for your Apple TV in a variety of ways.

Find music in your library

  1. Open Music Music app on Apple TV, then select Search in the menu bar.

  2. Swipe down to activate the onscreen keyboard.

  3. Enter a song, album, playlist, artist, compilation, or genre, then select Library.

Search Apple Music

  1. Open Music Music app on Apple TV, then select Search in the menu bar.

  2. Swipe down to select a trending search—or use the onscreen keyboard to enter a song, album, playlist, artist, curator, music video, activity, radio station, or genre, then select All Apple Music.

Use Siri to find music

Do one of the following:

  • In the Search screen, highlight the text entry field, press and hold the Siri button Siri button on the Siri Remote, then speak.

    For example, say the name of the artist, album, or song you’re looking for.

  • From anywhere else on Apple TV, press and hold the Siri button Siri button on the Siri Remote and say the name of an artist, album, or song you’re looking for.
