Set NetRestore source information
You must define at least one NetRestore source. This involves two values:
URI: The Uniform Resource Identifier for one of the following:
The Apple Software Restore (ASR) multicast stream. For example, asr://server.example.com:7800.
A web address containing the NetRestore image. For example, http://server.example.com/NetBoot/NetBootSP0/ArtClassroom.dmg.
Description: A description of what the URL points to.
The following options can be used to allow the user more flexibility when searching for a NetRestore source:
Browse for ASR multicast streams | Makes the client computer complete a DNS Service Discovery (DNS SD) browse command, looking for other ASR servers on the local network. |
Browse for other NetRestore sources | Makes the client computer look for http and https NetRestore sources. |
Manual source entry | Allows the user to manually enter a URI or URL to locate a NetRestore source. |
