
iTunes U materials and Schoolwork
To use materials from your existing iTunes U courses in Schoolwork, you can download the materials from:
The iTunes U app, then use the Share button to add the materials to a new Schoolwork Handout
The iTunes U web-based tool, then add the materials to a Schoolwork Handout.
Use the iTunes U app to add materials to a Handout
Launch the iTunes U app
.
Tap Instructor at the bottom, then tap the course with the material you want to use in a Handout.
Tap Materials at the bottom, then tap
for the material you want to use in a Handout.
Do one of the following:
For audio, video, and book materials, tap Open in Another App.
If you don’t see the Open in Another App option, tap
to first download the material.
For documents, apps, images, and links, tap Open MaterialType, then tap
.
iTunes U downloads the material, then opens the material in its associated app.
In the first section of share options, tap Schoolwork (swipe left to see more options if necessary).
Schoolwork displays the New Handout view and adds the selected material as a new activity (app, file, link, bookmark, photo, video).
Add details to create your new Handout.
Do one of the following:
If you are ready to post your Handout, tap Post.
If you aren’t ready to post your Handout, tap Save Draft to save it as a draft to send at a later time.
Schoolwork creates the Handout with the material and saves a copy of the material in the associated Handout folder in your Schoolwork class folder in iCloud Drive.
