
View photos shared with you and share back in iCloud
You can share photos from iCloud.com by sending a link. Just select the photos you want to share, and a link is created that you can send to the people who were with you. Your photos can be viewed by anyone with the link, and if they’re using iOS 12 or later, they see suggestions to share their photos back to you.
Note: Links you share are only available for 30 days and expire after that time.
Share photos from an event
In Photos on iCloud.com, select the photos you want to share, or double-click a single photo.
Click the Share button
, then choose Copy Link.
You can also choose Mail and send photos as attachments from your iCloud email account. If the attachments are larger than 20 MB, they’re replaced with a link to your photos.
Paste the link into Messages or Mail.
Choose who to share with.
Press Return (Messages), or click the Send button in the toolbar (Mail) to share the photos.
Share back when someone shares photos with you
When someone shares photos from an event with you, and you have photos from the same event in iCloud Photos, you might see a message to Share Back.
In Photos on iCloud.com, click View.
Your photos from the event are pre-selected.
Select the photos you want to share back, then click Share.
Stop sharing
Sign in to iCloud.com on an iOS or iPadOS device.
In Photos on iCloud.com, tap iCloud Links.
Tap Edit, then tap the Remove button
on a photo collection you want to stop sharing.
Tap Stop Sharing again to confirm.
Note: You can’t delete photos you’ve shared.
