Approve or deny RSVP requests in Apple Invites
After you create an event and invite guests, you can approve or deny requests to join the event.
Note: You can only approve or deny guests that you invite with a public link. Guests you invite individually can automatically join the event. See About the invitation links.
Turn on Approve Guests in the app
Before you can approve or deny RSVP requests, you need to turn on Approve Guests for the event.
- Go to the Apple Invites app - on your iPhone. 
- Tap an event, tap - , then tap Event Settings. 
- Turn on Approve Guests, then tap - .

- Go to the Apple Invites app - on your iPhone. 
- Tap an event, then tap Access Request. 
- Do any of the following: - Approve a request: Tap - to add the person to the guest list. 
- Deny a request: Tap - to deny the person’s request and block them from requesting again. 
- Unblock a request to join: Tap Unblock. If you want to reinvite the guest, resend the link.

- Go to icloud.com/invites, then sign in to your Apple Account (if you haven’t already). 
- Select an event, then select Manage Guests. 
- Turn on Approve Guests.

- In the guest list, do any of the following: - Approve a request: Select - to add the person to the guest list.
