Select result categories for Spotlight on Mac
Spotlight helps you quickly find things on your computer and shows results from your apps and system, as well as their contents. To customize the results you get when you search, you can turn result categories on or off.
Go to the System Settings app
on your Mac.
Click Spotlight
in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Below Results from Apps, Results from System, or Clipboard Search, do any of the following:
Include a category in Spotlight search results: Turn it on in the list.
Exclude a category in Spotlight search results: Turn it off in the list.
Note: If you don’t want your Look Up search queries data sent to Apple, deselect the Help Apple Improve Search option.
Thanks for your feedback.
