Share to Messages in iMovie on iPad
You can share a finished movie or trailer in a text message using the Messages app. Sharing a movie or trailer to Messages creates a 360p resolution movie at 30 frames per second (fps), regardless of the original content.
You must be logged in to Messages on your device to use this feature.
Note: If you’re using iMovie on an iPad set up as a Shared iPad, you can’t share projects to Messages.
Do one of the following:
From the Projects browser: Tap the movie or trailer you want to share.
If you’re editing a project: Tap Done (in the upper-left corner) to return to the project details screen, then tap the movie or trailer you want to share.
Tap the Share button
, then tap Messages.Complete the message that was created, then tap Send.
