Get the right fit with your Beats 360 headphones
Beats 360 have an adjustable headband and removable ear cushions. A snug fit around your ears gives you the best sound quality and noise cancellation.
Make sure your Beats 360 fits correctly. A proper fit is important for a comfortable and safe listening experience.
You can also replace the ear cushions and the headband cushion — to change how your Beats 360 look, or when a cushion begins to wear.
Adjust the fit of your Beats 360
The right fit is about more than comfort and stability. It also affects your listening experience and noise cancellation.
Make sure you have the right orientation.
Left and right indicators are located on the inside of the frame just above the ear cushions.
Tip: You’ll also know you have the correct orientation if you can feel the four controls on the back of the earcups while wearing the headphones. The buttons are placed to be easily reached with your thumbs.
Put on your Beats 360 headphones so the ear cushions sit snugly over your ears.
Important: If your Beats 360 don’t fit snugly, sound may become louder than expected.
Adjust the sliders between the earcups and headband on each side so the headband cushion touches the top of your head.
Properly adjusting the sliders ensures maximum comfort, a secure fit, and the best possible noise cancellation.
Remove or attach the ear cushions
Do either of the following:
Remove an ear cushion: Rotate the ear cushion counterclockwise.
Attach an ear cushion: Rotate the ear cushion clockwise until it snaps in place.
Tip: If the headphones are powered on, a tone indicates the successful attachment of each ear cushion.
Remove or attach the headband cushion
Do either of the following:
Remove the headband cushion: Gently pull the headband cushion down.
Attach the headband cushion: Snap the headband cushion into place.
