Search your Clipboard history in Spotlight on Mac
You can use Spotlight to search your Clipboard history.
On your Mac, press Command-Space bar to open Spotlight.
Click
to the right of the search field or Press Command-4.
Note: When you first search your Clipboard, you may be asked to click Enable in Spotlight. Sensitive information may appear on the Clipboard.
Do any of the following:
Search your Clipboard history: Enter what you’re looking for in the search field.
Copy from your Clipboard: Click
to the right of the item, or select the item and press Command-C.
To paste the item, click where you want it to appear, then press Command-V.
Erase your Clipboard history: Click
to the right of the search field, then choose Clear History.
