Change window tiling settings on Mac
Window tiling is available in macOS Sequoia 15 or later. You can use Desktop & Dock settings to turn several window tiling options on or off.
Turn window tiling by dragging on or off
On your Mac, choose Apple menu
in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)Go to Windows.
Turn “Tile by dragging windows to screen edges” on or off.
Turn window tiling by dragging with the Option key on or off
On your Mac, choose Apple menu
Go to Windows.
Turn “Hold ⌥ key while dragging windows to tile” on or off.
Turn tiled window margins on or off
You can choose whether tiled windows have space between them or are placed right next to each other.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu
Go to Windows.
Turn “Tiled windows have margins” on or off.
