If you can’t find a presentation in Keynote for iCloud
Presentations you create using Keynote for iCloud appear in the Keynote folder in the presentation manager (and in Recents, if the presentation was opened recently).
If you set up iCloud on your Mac computers, iOS devices, and iPadOS devices, and save your presentations to iCloud Drive, your presentations should also appear in the Keynote folder in the iCloud presentation manager. If you don’t see a presentation, click Browse on the left side of the presentation manager to see if the presentation was saved to a different folder.
If you still can’t find a presentation you saved to iCloud Drive, try the following steps to make sure your computers and devices are set up to sync properly.
If you can’t find a Keynote presentation created on a Mac
Do the following:
Make sure your Mac is connected to the internet.
Make sure you’re using a supported browser.
Verify that iCloud is set up on your computer, and that iCloud Drive is turned on for Keynote in your computer’s iCloud settings.
Make sure your Mac has macOS 14.0 or later installed.
Make sure the presentation isn’t in the process of being uploaded. Open Keynote on your Mac, or choose File > Open (from the File menu at the top of your screen) if Keynote is already open. If the presentation has a small iCloud icon or the word waiting next to it, it’s being uploaded. When the upload process is complete, the presentation should appear in Keynote for iCloud.
Make sure you’re saving the presentation to iCloud Drive. Turn on Keynote in iCloud system settings; or when you save a presentation, choose iCloud Drive as the location. For more information, see the Keynote User Guide for Mac (open Keynote, then choose Help > Keynote Help from the Help menu at the top of your screen).
Make sure the presentation isn’t an unsupported file type. Currently, Keynote for iCloud supports only Keynote or Microsoft PowerPoint file types.
If you can’t find a Keynote presentation created on an iPhone or iPad
Do the following:
Make sure your device is connected to the internet.
Make sure you’re using a supported browser.
Verify that you’re signed in to the same Apple Account on all your devices, and that iCloud Drive is turned on for Keynote in each device’s iCloud settings. See the iCloud User Guide.
Make sure your iPhone has iOS 17.0 or later installed.
Make sure your iPad has iPadOS 17.0 or later installed.
Verify that iCloud is turned on for the Keynote app on each device where you want to access the presentation. Tap Settings, then Keynote, then turn on iCloud.
Make sure the presentation isn’t in the process of being uploaded. Open the Keynote app on your device. If the presentation appears with an upload pending icon , it’s being uploaded. When the upload process is complete, the presentation should appear in Keynote for iCloud.
Verify that your iCloud password is correct, and that it’s updated on your devices and computers.
Check your remaining iCloud storage space on your device. Tap Settings, tap your name, then tap iCloud.
If you need additional space, you can either purchase more (tap Storage), or you can delete one or more of your presentations stored in iCloud.
