Manage macOS Server remotely
Use the Server app to connect to a server over the network and manage users, groups, services, and system information on the remote server. The remote server must have Server app 4 or later. To manage your server remotely, you must allow remote access. For information about allowing remote access, see Allow remote access to macOS Server.
If necessary, install the Server app on the Mac you want to use for administering your server.
For instructions, see Administering macOS Server remotely.
In the Server app, choose Manage > Connect to Server.
Select the server you want to manage, then click Continue.
If you want to manage a server that isn’t listed, such as a server outside your intranet, select Other Mac, click Continue, then enter its host name or IP address.
Enter an administrator name and password for the server you selected, then click Connect.
