Change Login Password settings on Mac
Use Login Password settings to change the password you use to log in to your Mac.
To change these settings, choose Apple menu in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Note: If your Mac or Magic Keyboard has Touch ID, see Change Touch ID & Password settings.
Option | Description |

A login password has been set for this user | Click Change to change the login password and password hint for the current user. While changing the password, you can use the Password Assistant to help you select a secure password. Click the key |
