Use Siri with Beats on Apple devices
When Beats are connected to iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch, you can use Siri to find information, play music, accept or decline incoming phone and FaceTime calls, announce notifications from apps, and more.
Set up Siri on your device
If you have Powerbeats Pro 2, you can say “Hey Siri” or “Siri” to activate Siri. Other Beats models require that you say “Hey Siri.” Beats Flex, Beats Solo Buds, and Beats Pill require using on-device controls to activate Siri.
iPhone or iPad: Go to Settings
> Apple Intelligence & Siri
> Talk & Type to Siri, then tap “Siri” or “Hey Siri.”
Apple Watch: Go to Settings
> Siri, tap “Listen for,” then tap “Siri” or “Hey Siri.”
Mac: Choose Apple menu
> System Settings, click Apple Intelligence & Siriin the sidebar, turn on Siri, click the “Listen for” pop-up menu, then choose “Siri” or “Hey Siri.”
Note: In some countries and regions, you may only have an option for “Hey Siri.”
Use Siri to announce calls or notifications
You can allow Siri to announce incoming calls with supported Beats devices. Time-sensitive notifications are also announced automatically when you’re wearing your Beats and they’re paired with your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch. You can choose which apps to receive notifications from and how frequently you receive them.
iPhone or iPad: Go to Settings
> Apple Intelligence & Siri
, tap Announce Calls or Announce Notifications, then choose an option.
For example, choose Headphones Only if you want Siri to announce calls or notifications only while you’re wearing your Beats.
Apple Watch: Go to Settings
> Siri, then turn on Announce Calls or tap Announce Notifications to adjust settings.

Tip: If you have Powerbeats Pro 2, you can use head gestures to respond to Siri announcements.
Activate Siri with your voice
You can activate Siri using your voice on supported Beats models. Beats Flex, Beats Solo Buds, and Beats Pill require using on-device controls to activate Siri.
Wear your Beats, and make sure they’re connected to your Apple device.
Say “Hey Siri,” then make your request.
Use Siri to start a workout from your Powerbeats Pro 2
While wearing your Powerbeats Pro 2, you can use Siri to start a workout in the Fitness app on your iPhone or Apple Watch.
During Fitness app workouts, the heart rate sensors in Powerbeats Pro 2 track your fitness metrics, including heart rate, pace, distance, steps for walking and running workouts, and the calories you burn.
Wear your Powerbeats Pro 2 and make sure they’re connected to your device
Do either of the following:
Say “Siri” or “Hey Siri.”
Press and hold
on either earbud.
When you hear a chime, say something like “Start a 30-minute outdoor run in [workout app name].”

Change your settings to activate Siri with a button on your earphones
By default, when you press and hold a button on your left or right earbud, supported Beats earphones switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes. You can change the press-and-hold action to use one earbud to switch between listening modes and the other earbud to activate Siri.
Wear your Beats, and make sure they’re connected to your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
Do one of the following:
iPhone or iPad: Go to Settings
, then tap the name of your Beats at the top of the screen. Tap Left or Right (or Press and Hold, then tap Left Earbud or Right Earbud), then choose Siri.
Mac: Choose Apple menu
> System Settings, then click your Beats in the sidebar. Click the L or R pop-up menu (next to Press and Hold), then choose Siri.
Activate Siri with a button on your headphones, earphones, or speaker
Wear your Beats, and make sure they’re connected to your Apple device.
Do one of the following:
Beats earphones: Follow the instructions in the previous task to set up Siri activation with a Beats button. Press and hold the “b” button
you assigned to Siri or the button above the
logo you assigned to Siri (on Beats Solo Buds or Beats Studio Buds +), wait for a chime, then make your request.
Beats Flex: Press and hold the button on the left control module, wait for a chime, then make your request.
Beats headphones: Press and hold the “b” button
on the left earcup, wait for a chime, then make your request.
Beats Pill: Press the power button twice, wait for a chime, then make your request.
Note: If you have Powerbeats Pro 2, you can say “Hey Siri” or “Siri” to activate Siri. Other Beats models require that you say “Hey Siri.” Beats Flex, Beats Solo Buds, and Beats Pill require using on-device controls to activate Siri.
