Change WINS settings in Network preferences on Mac
Use the WINS pane of Network preferences on your Mac to enter settings for a Windows Internet Naming Service (WINS) server.
To change these preferences on your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Network , select a network service in the list on the left, click Advanced, then click WINS.
If there’s a lock at the bottom left of the Network pane, click it to unlock the preference pane.

WINS Servers | List of WINS servers. Add a WINS server to the list: Click the Add button at the bottom of the WINS servers list, then enter the IP address of a WINS server. Remove a WINS server from the list: Select a server in the list, then click the Remove button at the bottom of the WINS servers list. |
