Use SharePlay to share screens in FaceTime on Mac
With SharePlay in FaceTime (macOS 12 or later), you can share your screen to show apps, webpages, and more during FaceTime video calls. You can look through a photo album together, plan your next vacation together, or get feedback on something you’re working on, all while seeing and hearing everyone’s reactions.
While on a FaceTime call on your Mac, open an app you want to share in the call.
In the menu bar, click the FaceTime button .
Click the Screen Share button , then do one of the following:
Share the app window: Choose Window, move the pointer to the app you want to share, then click Share This Window.
Share the whole screen: Choose Screen, move the pointer to any part of the screen, then click Share This Screen.
To stop sharing, click the FaceTime button in the menu bar, then click the Stop Sharing button.
You can also watch movies and TV shows or listen to music together during a FaceTime call. See Use SharePlay to watch and listen together.
Note: Some apps that support SharePlay require a subscription to participate. Not all features and content are available in all countries or regions. See the Apple Support article Availability of Apple Media Services.
