Use the Apple Configurator command-line tool
If you want to write shell scripts and automate specific processes, you can install the Apple Configurator command-line tool.
In Apple Configurator , choose Install Automation Tools in the Apple Configurator menu, click Install, then enter your administrator password.
The command-line tool cfgutil
is added to Apple Configurator, and a symbolic link is placed in /usr/local/bin/. After you install the command-line tool, see the cfgutil man page.
