Change how you view events in Calendar on Mac
You can choose which calendars you want to see and customize the days and times displayed in Week or Day view. You can view details of several calendar events at the same time by opening events in separate windows.
Use Focus filters
You can select which calendars appear and send you notifications, based on your current Focus. For example, you can set a filter to show only your Work calendar when your Work Focus is on. See Set up a Focus.
Always open events in separate windows
Go to the Calendar app
on your Mac.
Choose Calendar > Settings, then click Advanced.
Select “Open events in separate windows.”
Open an event in a separate window
Go to the Calendar app
on your Mac.
Double-click the event you want to open in a separate window.
Place the pointer over the top edge of the window, then drag the window where you want it.
Change the days and times displayed
You can customize Week view to show all 7 days of the week or just Monday through Friday. You can customize Day and Week views so that the Calendar window shows from 6 to 24 hours of events per day, and you can mark when your day starts and ends.
Go to the Calendar app
on your Mac.
Choose Calendar > Settings, click General, then choose options from the pop-up menus.
Show or hide a calendar
Go to the Calendar app
on your Mac.
Choose View > Show Calendar List, then do one of the following:
Show or hide a calendar’s events: Select or deselect the calendar’s checkbox in the Calendar list.
Show or hide events from all calendars: Press the Command key while you select or deselect any calendar’s checkbox.
