On your iOS device, look for the iTunes Store app. On your computer, find the iTunes Store in iTunes. On Apple TV, the iTunes Store is split into two apps: iTunes Movies and iTunes TV Shows.

Buy and download movies or TV shows

Through the iTunes Store, you can buy or rent movies,1 buy TV episodes and season passes,1 and download videos to watch without an Internet connection.2 If you don’t watch your video right away, you can find it later in the Library of the Apple TV App or Videos app,3 or search for it again in the iTunes Store. You can also see the movies and TV shows that you previously bought in the Purchased tab of the iTunes Store.

Before you can buy or rent videos from the iTunes Store, you need an Apple ID. Your Apple ID is the account that you use to access Apple services. If you've used other Apple services such as iCloud, sign in to the iTunes Store with the same Apple ID. If you don't have an Apple ID, you can create one.

If you see download button or download button near a video in the iTunes Store, you already bought that video. Tap download button or click download button and the video downloads to your device.2 You won't be charged again for the video.
