Reset the identifier or report concerns in Stocks on Mac
Apple News and Stocks use an identifier to report statistics to news publishers. You can reset the identifier at any time. You can also report concerns about news stories.
Reset the identifier
In the Stocks app
on your Mac, choose Stocks > Reset Identifier.Click Reset Identifier.
To learn more about the identifier, choose Help > About Stocks & Privacy while using the Stocks app.
Report a concern
If you believe a news story is mislabeled, inappropriate, offensive, or doesn’t display properly, you can report it.
Note: You can report a concern only in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
While viewing a story in the Stocks app
on your Mac, choose Stocks > Report a Concern.Click a category under the heading “Why don’t you want to see this?”
If you want, you can enter additional information about the concern.
Click Send.
