Change Keyboard Hardware preferences for accessibility on Mac

On your Mac, use the Hardware pane of Accessibility Keyboard preferences to enable and set options for Sticky Keys and Slow Keys.

To change these preferences, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Accessibility, click Keyboard, then click Hardware.

Option	Description
Enable Sticky Keys	Press a set of modifier keys one at a time in sequence, instead of all at once. For example, you would enter the key combination Option-Command-F5 by pressing each key in sequence. To customize Sticky Keys, click Options: Press the Shift key five times to toggle Sticky Keys: Use your keyboard to turn Sticky Keys on or off. Beep when a modifier key is set: Have your Mac make a sound when you press a modifier key. Display pressed keys on screen: Show symbols in the selected area on the screen for the modifier keys you press.
Enable Slow Keys	Adjust the delay between when you press a key and when it’s activated. To customize Slow Keys, click Options: Use click key sounds: Have keys make a sound when pressed. You hear a sound when you press a key, and a different sound when the key is accepted. Acceptance Delay: Set the delay between when you press a key and when it’s accepted.

To quickly turn Sticky Keys and Slow Keys on or off using the Accessibility Shortcuts panel, press Option-Command-F5 (or if your Mac or Magic Keyboard has Touch ID, quickly press Touch ID three times).

To specify which options are available in the panel, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Accessibility, then click Shortcut.
