Add or delete slides in Keynote on Mac
There are several ways to add slides to a presentation. You can add a new slide, duplicate existing slides and add slides from another presentation in the slide navigator.
Add a slide
Do one of the following:
Click in the toolbar, then select a slide layout. The new slide appears below the slide that’s selected in the slide navigator.
In the slide navigator, click to select the slide with the layout you want, then press Return. The new slide appears below the selected slide.
You can also drag the slide to a new location in the sidebar.
After adding a slide, add your own content to it, including text, shapes, tables, graphs, photos and videos.
Duplicate a slide
Duplicating a slide makes a copy of it that includes any changes you made to the layout and content of the original slide.
In the slide navigator, click to select a slide or select multiple slides, then press Command-D on your keyboard.
The duplicated slides appear immediately after the selected slides. You can drag duplicated slides to a new location.
Insert a slide from another presentation
Open two presentations.
In the slide navigator, click to select a slide or select multiple slides of one presentation, then drag them to the slide navigator of the other presentation.
Delete a slide
In the slide navigator, click to select a slide or select multiple slides, then press Delete on your keyboard.
