
Edit or delete draft feedback in Feedback Assistant on Mac
If you began creating a feedback report and saved it as a draft, you can open it from the Draft mailbox and edit it again before sending it to Apple. You can also delete draft feedback reports you decide not to send.
Edit draft feedback
Go to the Feedback Assistant app
on your Mac.
Select the Drafts folder in the sidebar.
Select the draft you want to edit, click
in the toolbar, then choose Edit Draft.
You can also double-click a draft to open it for editing.
Do any of the following:
Add files: Click
, then choose Choose File. Select a file, then click Attach.
You can also drag a file to the list of attachments to add it to your feedback.
Add device diagnostics: Click
, then choose Device Diagnostics. In the Add Device Diagnostics dialog, select one or more devices in the list, then click Add. The device diagnostics are gathered automatically and added to your feedback.
Add a screenshot: Click
, then choose Screenshot. Press Command-Tab to switch to the app you want to take a screenshot in. Select the area you want to capture—the screenshot is added to your feedback automatically.
View the content of attached files: In the Attachments section, click
next to the file you want to look at. The file is displayed in a Finder window. Press the Space bar to quickly review screenshot files. Double-click other types of files to open them.
Delete attached files: In the Attachments section, click
next to the file you want to delete, then click Remove.
Delete devices: In the Attachments section, click
next to the device you want to delete, then click Remove Device.
When you’re done editing the feedback, do one of the following:
If you’re ready to send your feedback to Apple, click Submit, then follow the onscreen instructions.
If you’re not ready to send your feedback yet, choose File > Save to save it in the Drafts folder.
Delete draft feedback
Go to the Feedback Assistant app
on your Mac.
Select the Drafts folder in the sidebar.
Select the draft you want to delete, click
in the toolbar, then choose Delete Draft.
You can also press the Delete key to delete a draft.
