How to send your Apple Vision Pro to Apple using Express Replacement Service
With AppleCare Express Replacement Service, you can replace your Apple Vision Pro Enclosure, Audio Straps or power cable. Use the following process to pack and send your device to Apple.
After you’ve contacted Apple for a service, you’ll receive a replacement product with instructions to return your original product to Apple.
Return your device so that Apple receives it within 10 days of the date your replacement device was sent to you by Apple (check your dispatch date).
Prepare your Apple Vision Pro
Remove Activation Lock and erase your data.
Pack your Apple Vision Pro for return
Disconnect the power cable and battery from the Audio Strap and place them in a safe location.
Remove the head band from your Vision Pro and place it in a safe location.
Pull the Light Seal and Light Seal Cushion straight off the Enclosure (the main part of the device that contains the displays and aluminium frame), then place them in a safe location.
If you have ZEISS Optical Inserts, remove them and place them in a safe location. If you include extra items in the box, these won't be returned to you.
Pick up the protective film from the bottom of the box, remove the backing and apply the protective film to the cover glass of your Enclosure.
Place Apple Vision Pro cover glass-side down into the tray.
Locate the small eject holes next to each Audio Strap on the inside edge of the Enclosure.
Carefully insert the extraction tool into the eject hole on your Apple Vision Pro. Only use the included extraction tool — do not use a paper clip or SIM eject tool.
Slowly pull the Audio Strap outwards, keeping it straight and aligned, while continuing to press the extraction tool into the eject hole. Don’t wiggle the strap or pull it off at an angle.
Remove the extraction tool from the eject hole.

Remove the extraction tool from the eject hole.
Place both audio straps in a safe location. If you include extra items in the box, we won't be able to return them to you.
Close the outer box.
Seal the box with tape and send the box to Apple.*

Send your Apple Vision Pro to Apple from Australia
You’ll be provided with a link to a shipping label to print at home. Return your product to Apple using the shipping label.
Print the shipping label that Apple provided when you requested the service.
Take your postage label and unpackaged iPad to Australia Post. To find your nearest Australia Post Office, visit: auspost.com.au/locate/.
Australia Post will package your product and provide you with a receipt to confirm the lodgement of your return. Don’t include your head band, Light Seal, Light Seal Cushion, ZEISS Optical Inserts or other accessories with your package. If you include extra items, we will be unable to return them to you.
Check that Apple has received your product after a few days.
If Apple does not receive your original device within 10 days, or if Apple technicians find that your original device is ineligible for service or for any reason not covered by an active AppleCare plan, youʼll be charged the full value of the replacement device.
