What to do before you sell or give away your Apple Vision Pro
Remove personal information from your Apple Vision Pro and prepare it for a new owner.
Cancel or transfer AppleCare coverage
If your Apple Vision Pro is covered by an AppleCare plan, you can cancel that plan or transfer it to the new owner.
Back up your Apple Vision Pro
iCloud Backup includes all of the information and settings stored on your device that aren’t already synced to iCloud.
In Settings, tap your name > iCloud > iCloud Backup.
Turn on iCloud Backup.
To perform a manual backup, tap Backup Now.

Reset your Apple Vision Pro to factory settings
To get your Apple Vision Pro ready for a new owner, remove Activation Lock and erase your personal information.
Remove Activation Lock
To remove Activation Lock, sign out of your Apple Account:
In Settings, tap your name.
Scroll down and tap Sign Out.
Enter your Apple Account password, then tap Turn Off.
Erase your Apple Vision Pro
In Settings, tap General > Transfer or Reset This Apple Vision Pro.
To transfer your content and settings to a new Vision Pro, tap Get Started and follow the onscreen instructions. Then return to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset This Apple Vision Pro.
Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
