
Interact with text in a picture in Safari on Mac
With Live Text, you can select the text in a photo or image, then work with the words and numbers—for example, get a map of an address or send email to an email address.
- Go to the Safari app  on your Mac. on your Mac.
- Go to a photo or image that shows text. - The text can be words, a phone number, an email address, a website address, or a street address. 
- Move the pointer over the text, then drag to select it. 
- Control-click the selected text. 
- Do one of the following: - Copy: Choose Copy. You can then paste the text into another document or app. 
- Get a definition: Choose Look Up. 
- Translate: Choose Translate [text], then choose a language. - Note: Translation isn’t available in all languages and may not be available in some countries or regions. 
- Search the web: Choose Search with [web search engine]. 
- Share with others: Choose Share, then choose how you want to share the text. 
- Call or send a message: Choose to call the phone number, start a FaceTime video or audio call, or send a message to the number. - You can also click  that appears when you move the pointer over the phone number. that appears when you move the pointer over the phone number.
