View participants in a grid layout in FaceTime on iPad
During a call with four or more people in the FaceTime app 
, you can view participants in same-size tiles, arranged in a grid. The speaker’s tile highlights automatically, so it’s easy to know who’s talking. (Depending on your iPad model, some tiles may appear blurred.)
In a FaceTime call, tap the Grid button near the upper-right corner of the screen (if the button isn’t visible, tap the screen).
To turn the Grid off, tap it again.
