View other family members’ purchases in the Apple TV app on Mac
If you’ve set up Family Sharing, you can use the Apple TV app to view purchases made by other family members.
With Family Sharing, up to six family members can download each other’s purchases to their own computers and devices. Family members can also hide their purchases so others can’t download them.
View and download other family members’ purchases
In the Apple TV app on your Mac, click Library at the top of the window.
In the sidebar, click the arrow next to Library, then select a family member’s library.
To view only your downloaded items, select Downloaded in the sidebar. If the Downloaded option doesn’t appear, click Edit to the right of the arrow and select the Downloaded checkbox.
To download a purchased item, click its download button .
Unhide a purchase you’ve hidden
In the Apple TV app on your Mac, choose Account > Account Settings, then scroll down to Hidden Purchases (in the Downloads and Purchases section) and click Manage.
A list of hidden purchases appears.
Click Unhide under the item you wish to unhide.
When you’re finished, click Back to Account, then scroll down and click Done.
When you subscribe to an Apple TV channel, you can share your subscription with family members. Each family member uses their own account and has their own favorites, viewing history, and recommendations.
Important: To share purchases and subscriptions, all members of the family group must be in the same country or region (as determined by the billing address associated with their Apple ID). If a family member moves to another country or region and updates their Apple ID information, that person might lose access to the purchases of other family members, and installed apps that were shared from other family members might not work. (See the Apple Support article Change your Apple ID country or region.)
