Intro to collaboration in Pages for iCloud
You can collaborate with others in real time by sharing a link to your Pages for iCloud document. Shared documents and any changes to them are saved in iCloud, and people working in the document see the changes as they’re made.
As the owner of the document, you control who can open it, and what they can do:
Access: You can send a link that anyone can use to open the document. Or, you can invite specific people who must sign in with their Apple ID to open the document. You can also allow the people you invite to invite other people to collaborate.
Editing permission: You can choose whether others can make changes to the document or only view it. You can also choose whether participants can invite others to collaborate on the document.
If you set access to allow anyone with the link to open your document, they don’t need an iCloud account or Apple ID to view or edit the shared document.
If you invite only specific people to collaborate on your document, they must be signed in with an Apple ID and have iCloud Drive turned on to view or edit the document. See Accept an invitation to collaborate.
Minimum system requirements
To collaborate on a shared document, the people you share with need any of the following:
A Mac with macOS 12.3 or later and Pages 13.0 or later
An iPhone with iOS 15.4 or later and Pages 13.0 or later
An iPad with iPadOS 15.4 or later and Pages 13.0 or later
A Mac with macOS 12.3 or later or Windows computer, and a supported browser
Anyone with an Android device, or an iPhone or iPad that doesn’t meet the minimum system requirements, can view, but not edit, the document.
